Survival of the fittest. We’ve seen it in the movies, we’ve seen it on the TV, but now it’s time to pit man against man as The Culling arrives.
Available right now on Xbox One as the latest title to join the Xbox Game Preview program, The Culling is a battle-royale style first-person survival game developed by indie studio Xaviant.
After a successful showing on Steam, it’s now time for players on Xbox One to step into the island full of traps, become one with the land and be the true survivor in the all vs all contest. Make the most of air drops and select your playstyle as you look to prey on the weaknesses of others. Poisonous gas close to your hideout? Turn it into a trap to stop anyone looking to hunt you down.
Each match pits 16 contestants into a 25 minute rush to craft, scavenge, build and hunt. Only one can be crowned the winner, but do you have what it takes to survive? Or will you be lost on the island as a reminder of what failure means to others.

The Culling is out now on Xbox One and PC for the price of £19.99. Don’t forget, as an Xbox Game Preview title, The Culling will be amended and shaped as the developers see fit. Just be aware that you are not paying for a fully released title… just yet!

MULTIPLE ARENAS The show’s producers have custom-tailored each of the arenas for maximum bloodshed and entertainment value. Arenas are also outfitted with a “perfectly safe”green poison gas that creeps in to keep the action flowing, just like the adrenaline in your veins! SURVIVAL ISLAND The island that started it all, featuring lush trees, tranquil water, warm sunshine, and abandoned buildings.
