Start firing with The Spoy Who Shot Me

No prizes for guessing who – and what – The Spy Who Shot Me is inspired by. But after doing the rounds on PC previously, the comedic first person shooter starts firing shots in The Spy Who Shot Me on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

The name’s Bond. Kinda.

Available today for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is The Spy Who Shot Me. A product of the Retro Army Limited team, picked up for publishing rights by PixelHeart, The Spy Who Shot Me is a first person shooter that oozes retro vibes. There’s obviously some James Bond stylings kicking around in tis one. And it’s in that which we are seeing some GoldenEye 007 themes.

The Spy Who Shot Me runs a £6.69 price from the Xbox Store. Crack open that wallet and hunt around for some left over dough after the holiday period and you too can get involved. Do so and it’ll be a comedy affair that you find yourself dropped into. All as you take on the role of Agent7 – the super spy.

Whether you have enough about you to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Bond or even Agent 47 in Hitman is up for debate. But you’ll certainly need to bring your A-game to the table with The Spy Who Shot Me. if you don’t, the evil forces of S.C.U.M. will take over the world.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
